life's been amazing these past two weeks..

perhaps just as awesome as the first two weeks of december.

took my data communications final, and got a good grade. had a wonderful dinner date thursday. it snowed and caused my marketing final to be on saturday, saw abacabb at the beach with travis after having a rad day. came home and took my final the next morning. went xmas shopping and saw abacabb at hat factory later in the evening.

so for the second night in a row I saw two songs from IA1962 then saw abacabb. it was nice to see so many familiar faces at the beach show, but the richmond show was a better performance all around. same setlist, more energetic/louder and more kids into it. hit my best headwalk in three years easily (not saying much) during regression, maybe seeing huskey at the beach show had something to do with hitting that long walk.


work sucked the next two days and then i took my last final at the last possible final slot (tuesday at 1pm), shit sucked. studied all that morning with ashley after coffee then went to target for some more quick shopping afterwords...kevin and i exchanged gifts and i napped hard for a bit.


later in the evening was wonderful, i wonder how lucky of a guy am i to have a cute girl make me such an amazing meal? most amazing dinner in a minute, had a fun night out and chilled hard after.


an amazing start to my next day and then a long shift at work.


thursday at work was amazing, came home and gave cat and kdog their xmas gifts...they were stoked. chilled for a bit then took ashley back to vb when she got off work. arrived in creek and did it up with the neighbors, you already know. 


xmas eve, nathan, adrian, cat and i hung out all day and then had dinner with the rents, dinner was a lot of fun and magically delicious. cat left to go hang with her dad and we continued to chill before tyler hit me up to hangout. hadn't seen that fool since last xmas eve, hungout and caught up then he went to his dads.


xmas day was incredible. woke up and did xmas with the family. dad was ssoooo stoked on the winter classic tickets. i got a new jacket, i love the fuck out of this thing. some giftcards, the normal black sweater and pair of boxers from grandma, a wings calendar, some reese's peanut butter cups and some cash. hungout for a while and said merry xmas to the vastano brothers. then went out to say hey to kelsie for a minute, it was way sweet to see her and catch up for a while. saw her mom, her newly wed sister sharla, boagie, avalanche, that ungodly soft orange cat who's name escapes me and that huge great dane that did NOT like me. came back through the peake to the creek to scoop travis. made a delicious ham biscuit with potato salad, that house is always good for ham. maynard's cooking is always on point, no matter who's cooking. driving back to richmond is when the snow first started falling. got back in a timely fashion and expected not to be going to work the next day due to the snow. chilled with kdiggity for a bit then went home.


had work all day sunday and had a crazy busy shift after treydog had sent home zac and alex before it got crazy. we recovered nicely and i got sent home an hour early. chilled with sam, travis and nick over at dudestorm and looked at black men magazine's holiday gift issue. holy hell do i love beautiful black women, watched some movie with michael cera that's based off a comic. it took a while for me to look past michael cera playing another awkward guitar playing indie kid, but when i did i enjoyed the movie.


i need to get more accomplished today before work, and i can't wait till i get off later. i feel like i haven't seen you in forever.

the past two days have been pretty awesome

back on my grind

Got an 80 on that test last Tuesday, 90 after corrections. Started my project for Stats that was due Thursday mad late Tuesday. Worked all day at the cafe Wednesday and then completed the rest of my project. Got done with it 3am Thursday and then turned it in with a celebration dance around 9am. Had girltalk with Sarah Bennett over Panda Garden. Thursday night went to West Point with Cait and dropped off Rollins (he's getting so big). Ate another dinner, shit ruled soooo hard. Raged with Q-money and Cait before bed.

Friday got up and drove to Philadelphia in under 4 hours (that's never fucking happened), got there and chilled for a bit before going out and doing whatever. Beat Nathan in chess, and then lost to Adrian. Had Chinese for dinner, then some delicious ice cream. Adrian and Cait rescued a turtle from the fish market and set it up in the tank in the living room. Woke up and went to the punk rock flea market, shit was huge and legit. Picked up a Christmas gift (I still have so much shopping to do!) then came back and got pizza before going to the hockey game.

We arrived a little late and missed two of the five goals, the wings won 4-1 over the devils. I enjoyed this trip though more than the one last year at Madison Square Garden though, not taking away from that excursion but the lighting of the Prudential Center was so legit and the arena was amazing looking because of it. Saw Jonathan Ericsson lose a fight and almost saw Kronwall layout a devil. Saw Zetterberg and Datsyuk score as well.

The drive back from Philly look 6 hours and was filled with accidents on 95S.

Yesterday I worked and then studied for my final that I took at 1pm today and it seemed to go over pretty well.

Finals Friday at 8am (marketing) and then Tuesday at 1pm (organizational behavior)

im officially 22, that's not so much of an odd feeling as i thought it'd be. i feel as though this past year has flown by all too fast, being caught up in over-productive schedules and studying for this certification has just made me a few times remember "oh yeah, i'm 21 now."

being that it was my birthday i felt the urge to try to make it last all weekend, although it was today.

my party friday was all i could have asked for: my sisters, alley and sarah, and my brother and his lady traveled to hangout. everyone looked awesome, and a lot of people came out that i haven't seen in a minute due to me being too busy all the time. it was awesome and it meant a lot that everyone came out, so if you did. thanks a bunch.

saturday was filled with a five and a half hour shift then a long afternoon nap, chilled and then worked all day sunday before the season finale of walking dead.

which, eh...ending kinda let me down but we'll see how it transitions into next season.

chilled with q-money at midnight till 2am playing halo 2, shit ruled so hard. went to class and then relaxed for a second before grabbing cait for lunch and seeing jason at river city. dropped her off and then got panda garden takeout for dinner before chilling with catherine before we parted ways down main street. met up with jeremy for the wings game, travis and nick stopped by to say hey and the wings eventually lost 5-2.

lets hope that doesn't happen saturday in new jersey, so stoked for that game.

but until then i'm back on my hectic as fuck schedule status till then, it would have been so much easier had i just kept up with my stats project all semester.

test at 2pm tuesday, have to complete a good chunk tomorrow, work all day wednesday and library that night to turn in my project by 2pm thursday.

again, if i saw you at all this weekend/today thanks for making this weekend amazing.

so tuesday i took my certification test, i passed the first test, but not the second. what sucks the most honestly won't be having to fork out another $160 (although that does suck) for that particular test but that i was expecting to be said and done with the shit by now. and since im busy as fuck up until exams that'll be something else to throw in there as well.

luckily my exam week is pretty spread out with a handful of abacabb final shows that weekend. i hope they play at least one older song. i do enjoy the survivalist album, but i'd like to kill a few kids during 21 gun salute, or at the very least hear multiple stab wounds one more time.



Girltalk with SB tomorrow, stoked. Waking up early for breakfast, meh...it's apparently important if it calls for GT over breakfast. As well, I'm stoked for tomorrow night.

saturday i worked in the morning and left after lunch, came home and napped for entirely too long then hungout at dudestorm annex and then sb's.

sunday at work dragged to all hell and then i drove to chesapeake to chill with the neighbors

this morning i had a doctor's appointment and then sister clay gave me a haircut, i dig it. late lunch with mom and grandma before dropping grandma off at norfolk international.

dudestorm was rad enough to let me use their crib friday, stoked.

now im about to drive back up to rva, im studying my ass off tonight and then taking my test tomorrow morning.

kinda nervous but more stoked to just get this shit done with.

tomorrow's going to make or break my determination/motivation for the remainder of the semester.

Thanksgiving Post

Yesterday I took my grandmother to lunch at the Nordstrom at Macarthur, she really enjoyed her Chicken Panini, I had the Tuscan Salmon. Then she had to pick up some stuff for a desert dish she made for Thanksgiving dinner so we went to another place where I once worked. Grandma bought me a 12 pack of Harps, stoked. Later I went with father to the Admirals game, they were winning 3-2 with a minute left in regulation and then eventually lost 4-3 in regulation. Qmoney came to chill with the neighbors and I yesterday on his birthday, said whats up to him and wished him a happy birthday.

While watching The Patriots comeback against the Lions, I suppose I'll make a list of what I'm thankful for.

Tuesday was a rad day to say the least, turned in my stats homework (first time i've done that in a minute) and chilled through class. Came home and showered, turned in my info370 project, did the dishes with Kevin and caught up for a bit and then made a trip to the liquor store for a coworker. Sat in info370 through a lecture and an extra guest speaker before skipping my final class of the day to see Ashley for a second before she ran off to hang with Rosel. Napped for a 40 minutes longer than my intended 20 minute catnap and picked up Morris and Catherine to go back to the 7 Cities. Had good catching up conversations about current and future plans. Dropped them off and raged with Tom and Brandon across the street before crashing hard as fuck and waking up to an empty container of blackberries next to the inflatable mattress upstairs in Nathans old room. Which is now the oddest shade of red and it throws me off everytime I go up there.

monday turned out differently than expected

i woke up later than i wanted to to do the final set of review questions. skipped marketing and visited cat at her office to finish up part of my project with my partner. came home and did the rest of my review questions. switched shifts with alex and got to work at 3pm for a pretty chill shift. stats homework in the library after work, taco bell with ashley then crashed pretty hard.

so much for plans after work

9-6 sucked, not getting the assignment done sucked, the 4th episode of walking dead was sweet, not doing my final 100 questions sucked.

now i'm off to bed, when i should already be in bed so that i can wake up to do the questions that i should be in the middle of doing currently.

too busy, too much.

today at work was kinda hectic, i ran out of chicken panini's way early into lunch in anticipation of other things needing more attention (like turkey paninis). that shit sucked, and as a result of lunch sucking all around pretty much i got out an hour later.

came home and took a much needed nap for a little less than an hour and a half and then proceeded to wake up, take a shower, order panda garden and then knock out 100 more questions towards my certification. only 100 left that i plan on knocking out tomorrow night and then i'll be set.

got up with travis and semaj and we rolled over to caits for a bit to see her graham, bryan, cupcake and rollins. sarah and alley were suppose to roll up but their voyage up got delayed a bit and i didn't see them before we dipped.

had girltalk with sarah bennett today

today i had lunch at panda garden for a second day in a row over girltalk with sarah bennett, the topics of discussion were rad as they always tend to be. im stoked to see she's recovering after her appendicitis attack last week. chilled at my house for a second while i payed my parking ticket and power bill. $30 split 2 ways. BOOMSHAKALAKA.

i attempted to do an assignment with my boo shauntriva from info370 but we ran into a list of bullshit problems that prevented us from completing it.

as well i managed to restart my computer halfway through a set of review questions for my test, i've realized when i near the end of an assignment i tend to drag it out. i can't count how many times i've done a set of 100 questions only to have stopped between 92-97 to go make a sandwich, take a shower, fuckin...take a nap, or something else ridiculous of the nature.

tomorrow's gilline's birthday party/classy ass party and my intended date is working a double, it's all good though. i'm suppose to get up with kdog and go, which will be rad to hangout with kdiggity again.

as far as my day tomorrow goes: class 10a, work 11.75a-8.5p then gilline's 9.5-?

Xanga, Blogspot, 2 Paper Diaries, now back to Blogspot

i've filled up my second of two paper diaries (first was 5/21/09-12/23/09 and the second 4/22/10-11/16/10) so i decided i'd start one online again. i've missed keeping an online journal, it keeps things interesting.

today i signed up for classes and i'm not too stoked on next semester, currently just tuesday and thursday classes. however, im sure my schedule will go through multiple revisions before its set in stone (as it always does).

i'm getting closer to being done with my certification test, which would be rad seeing as it's been something i've put off for months now. i hope to schedule the test for tuesday or wednesday of next week as to get all that shit done before thanksgiving. as well, i can't wait for this semester to be over, i need a break and to chillax for a while.

i'm anxious to go home tuesday night for thanksgiving, treydog gave me that wednesday off so hopefully Q-money and I will be chilling wednesday night in creek for his bday, as well as chilling with Ms. Cleaves as it's been 6 months since I saw her at MaCRoCk XIII. i also need to see sister clay when i get home so he can give me a fresh cut, my hairs too fucking long and it's getting ridiculous.

oh yeah, saw oceano and chelsea grin at the hat factory sunday. chelsea grin seemed to be a little over-hyped to me prior to their set, i stood in the back and watched. not gonna lie, was mad impressed while sending texts back and forth i definitely overheard one of the heaviest breakdowns of my life during their set. oceano was sweet too, 6 old songs and 4 new. i love when a band doesn't overload you with unfamiliar new shit. set went OONOONONNO and boomshakalaka i was out. sat through in the midst of lions and attila before that and was so ready to go by the end of the night. kinda freaks me out how i used to be able to sit through all day fests with a smile on my face and now i find it difficult to stand through 4 sets. oh well, with shows now it's definitely quality > quantity now a days.

had lunch and did laundry with brendan today, that was rad. it was nice to catch-up. dinner with semaj, travis and ashley here in a second.
